Should America remain a Republic or convert to a Autocratic socialist/communist /marxist State?

Like the rest of the nation, I am following the Republican candidates as each begins to shape their campaign for President in the 2012 election. Each gives us their views on the issues. The economy, jobs, the crash of the housing market, and now the loss of our “AAA” credit rating at S&P. The candidates and the media all go back and forth about whether taxes should be increased or decreased. They all discuss which budgets should be cut. Discussions run the spectrum from “everything is on the tables” to re-doing Medicare, Social Security, and Defense spending!

I don’t disagree that these are issues that cannot be ignored. They are issues that we hear about 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! One would be hard pressed not to know these problems exist and have a tremendous impact on all Americans! But, I believe that there is an issue even more important that has been completely ignored as we begin to make our way into the stretch for the up-coming 2012 Presidential Race.

Why are Republicans and the media, refusing to discuss the main issue facing all Americans? Do we want our Republican form of government to continue to exist; or, do we want to live in a socialist/communist state-run by a dictator or whatever type of leadership system the progressives plan to set up in America? Along with the second alternative, do we want to give up our National Sovereignty as the United Nations and many of its members want? Do we want to “ruled” under “One World Government?”

Are you willing to give up your 2nd Amendment right to bear arms? Are you willing to give up you right to private property ownership? Are you willing to let the government censor your speech or the media? Are you willing to give up GOD? Are you willing to give up your independence and allow the government to take care of you with respect to health care, welfare of your child, how much money you can work for? Are you willing to give up your life dreams and settle for a mundane existence in life where everyone pretty much has the “same” everything: job, home, education, lack of aspirations, lack of hope, loss of personal achievement, loss of personal freedoms for the “collective?

Maybe you are. I am not! So, tell me why are our politicians, the Republicans and those Democrats who are not Progressives [socialist/communist/Marxist], afraid to put those issues out in the open for debate? Now, you  must decide!

  5. Freedom, by the way said

I’ve heard Bachman bring up the socialism issue, but not during a debate. Unfortunately the left has made everyone think that if you call the Prez or progressives “socialists” that it’s a personal insult and you’re a racist. The left doesn’t want an intelligent debate on forms of govt because they know they can’t win. But that doesn’t mean it’s not the most important topic of all. I agree with you.

    • You’re so right. It is a sad state of affairs. It may lead to our downfall if we don’t do something soon. What do you think about Bolton entering the race. Personally, I like him. He is candid about the UN goals and Clinton’s efforts to sign away our rights to them as a sovereign nation.
